Books of the Year

I will have “read” about 150 books by the end of the year, but some were flipping through cookbooks or inhaling Baby-Sitters Club graphic novels, so that number isn’t super useful. I also got a Net Galley account, so that’s been fun.

I read many romance novels, and I loved all the ones that I finished! (I do not finish anything less than a 3 star.)

Pants - my bespoke sunflower joggers (pro tip: have a sister that sews)

T-shirt - my Sick Jan tee from a Chris Fleming show

Shoes - rainbow crocs (worn indoors only to stay white)

Crewneck - Junior Grannies (Got some ketchup on it this week, love that for me)

Native prairie garden plant of the Year

Wild columbine or Aquilegia canadensis. I’d like to add more to my garden next year. It’s so pretty!
