Things you can buy off book outlet part 2
When you need a destination for all those fancy markers that you rage-bought
I love colouring! I do not colour often, because I can’t use my phone at the same time, and because the other people in my house do not like to watch TV and movies with me under the brightness of a thousand suns. But it is simply delightful when visiting children express an interest in colouring and I bring out the Big Guns.
Reminder - here is my referral code, which gets you a discount and gives me book reward dollars that I will immediately spend again: this code. If you don’t want to use it, no worries, I probably wouldn’t, because I’m like that.
Book outlet has an entire category for adult colouring books! Here are some jaunty suggestions:
ART
Scottish illustrator Johanna Basford has beautiful colouring books. I have five of them. There is generally always one or two available.
POP CULTURE
A surprising number of franchises, including books, TV shows, movies, and video games, have associated colouring books. The site usually only has a few copies of these, sometimes only one lonely copy. I do not order unless I am getting enough to get free shipping, which is how I missed out on a Little House on the Prairie colouring book.
WHY NOT
Fat Ladies in Spaaaaace? Why not.
Art History? Why not.
Badass grandma? Why the heck not.
If you are looking for something special, let me know and I’ll keep an eye out for it!
